After visiting the 百菇莊,Mr Liao drove us to 纸箱王.He had been telling us the place not worth visiting. Because it's small and the people there are "daooo" in some sense. Being the stubborn us, we still went ahead visiting 纸箱王. The entrance fee was NT100. After Mr Liao dropped us off at 纸箱王, he got some things to settle + to settle his lunch too. So he didn't followed us.

When we entered 纸箱王, we were kinda amazed by the paper buildings there. Kinda cool.Then we proceed to other parts of the attraction to take a look. Like seriously, nothing much over there leh. So, a piece of advise, don't bother visiting the place unless you like paper product alot! Hahahaa.Feel kinda cheated. Feel that what Mr Liao said was right.

After that, we went for tea break over at their restaurant. At the same time, we wanted to spend away the vouchers too.So we ordered 3 sets to share. The name of the set sounds very atas . But when the snacks came, it was crap la. And it's not nice toooo. :<

Initally, we thought the drinks was poured in this container. We were amazed how thick is the material and able to hold the drinks well without spilling it out. Later then we realize, there's a cup in the container. =.=" Tio cheated lor!

Next stop! Mr Liao drove us to the 正宗太阳饼 to get the 饼. There's alot of "fake" 太阳堂 there. Like down the street, always every shop the name is 太阳堂. It's damn 夸张. The actual 太阳堂 is the one with blue signboard. We ordered our 太阳饼 and asked them to 宅配 to our Taipei hotel.Like so 方便 only.hahaha. The shipping is kinda cheap cause the 6 of us shared + we don't have to carry the 饼 from 台中 to 台北.Like so mafan !

It's like 3 or 4 plus already. Mr Liao asked if we wanna eat 肉圆. I immediately shouted "I WANT" in his car! Hahhaa. One of my mission was to eat 肉圆 which I didn't ate the previous time I came Taiwan. So this time round, I must eat it! So he drove us there and we ordered a few to shareee! The 肉圆 was nice daooo! I love the 皮 of the 肉圆. Like nice only lor! Chewy chewy de. Me like it alot! Hahahhaa.

With some garlic sauce + chilli sauce to go along to the 肉圆! Nice only! :D

Ok, after makan-ing, our initial plan was to go to 一中商圈 for shopping and that's the end of the day! But after that, Mr Liao told us there's nothing much over at 一中商圈. He even brought us there and take a look and ask if we really wanna go down. After thinking through, decided not to go there and go to other places that he recommended!

So, our next stop was 东海大学 and go to the 东海教堂 to take photos.Before that, Mr Liao treated each of us a huge cup of black tea! So nice of him right?We like titi 骗吃骗喝 only.Hahaha.

The 教堂 was kinda unique. While walking to the 教堂, I saw 1 girl practising her trombone at the field there! It makes me think of my band days with sectional practice!Good old days~Hahahaha

Next, Mr Liao drove us to 高美濕地 to see sunset! Initially we didn't know that we're going to 高美濕地.Getting more and more 熟 with Mr Liao.So when we ask him where we are going. he told us "我要把你们带去卖 ." We was like =.=", act cute only lor. Hahaha.After a half an hour journey, we reached 高美濕地.The scenery there was very beautiful! Mr Liao told us that it's his first time there for the year. Cause the weather wasn't very good for the past few months. We were like lucky only. That day weather was good and it's cooling. Managed to watch sunset! Feel so peaceful and relaxed over there.

After finishing admiring the sunset, Mr Liao drove us back to our motel to put our barang barang and drove us to  逢甲夜市 for last day shopping at 台中and as well as meeting Kim's Taiwan friend.After he drove us to 逢甲夜市 , we bidded goodbye to him. And he told us he will bring us to the famous 凤梨酥 shop to get 凤梨酥 next day before going back to 台北

After bidding good bye to him, we started shopping and buying finger foods to fill our stomach! I shall blog about part 3 soon!Part 3 is all about meeting up with Kim's Taiwan friends and having lots of fun the whole night and 地头蛇 that bring us to have yummy food! :D

Our Day #2 was a mad crazy one. Our day started at 8.45am and ended at the next day 6am! Play from day till dawn! Hahahhaa. Ok, I shall now blogged about Day#2 .

 We met up with the driver,Mr Liao I hired at 8.45am.Before that had our breakfast provide by the motel. The breakfast was soso only.When 3 of us headed down to meet him first, he was like OK. Then when he saw 6 girls, he went 0.o" . Cause in the email I didn't mention to him . So all along, he thought there will be 3 couples.Hahaha. So he was kinda shocked and he say this is his first time driving 6 singapore girls.Honoured not?Hahhaa.

Oh ya, some info about Mr Liao. He own a DSLR. So I passed him my memory card and he helped to take alot of 自然照 + 好看的照片.Hahaha. He is like our DRIVER aka TOUR GUIDE aka PHOTOGRAPHER of the day! Hahaha. The rate he charged is also very reasonable. Other drivers quote me NT4000. He only quote me NT2800. He told me NT4000 was market rate then I asked him why he charge us so cheap. He say don't know. So I suppose the day i email him is either he 心情好 or 有缘 lor.But at the end of the day, we gave him NT3000 cause his service was really very good. Besides that he also treated us food and drinks. Like nice only lor!

So, 1st stop he brought us to have Mee sua. The mee sua was very niceee! :D I wonder why Taiwan vinegar not sour de lor. Taste so nice.Hahahhaa. Then after that he brought us to 东东芋圆. We ordered a hot and a cold one. Personally I prefer the hot one. Nicer! Plus the 芋头 damn 绵! Damn nice till maxxx! Hahahaha.

  After a full breakfast, Mr Liao drove us to 薰衣草森林. The journey there was scary one. The road was damn narrow and it's up on hill. So the car just keep turning and turning. And Mr Liao can still talk on the phone + drive his car on a very very very narrow road which all of us went O_O. After 20mins ride, we finally reached  薰衣草森林! :D

薰衣草森林 is very nice place!The entrance fee was NT200. The entrance fee also include some vouchers/coupons for you to get gifts or ice cream over there. We spent around 2 or 3 hours over there. Taking pictures and admiring the scenery.Hahaha. Mr Liao also helped us to take alot of photos and ask me to pose here and there. Besides that, he also feed us with lots of info . Hahahhaa.

After that , we went down and used the vouchers to get some ice creams to share. Mr Liao told us hot selling one was 薰衣草 . He said it doesn't taste nice. The lemon grass one was nice. True enough, all of us like the lemon grass ice cream tasted so much better! Hahaha.

After that, we went to the souvenir shop to spend away our vouchers. We got soaps(some of the soap smell damn nice! some CMI.Hahaha),cookies and post cards! The post cards cost NT25. After you have written your message on the post card, you can drop into mailbox and they will help you to mail it to Singapore. Received our post card after 1 week we came back! :D

After spending 2 -3 hours over at 薰衣草森林. Mr Liao drove us to 百菇莊.(We didn't include in our iternary, he suggested to bring us there since it's pretty near.)

 We only stayed there awhile and bought some mushroom tibits which tasted awesome! Besides that, Mr Liao also treated mushroom and the sausage too! : D

I know it's been a long long time since I last blog. Even Chelvi been asking me when I will be updating my blog. She say she see the ice cream until damn sian liao. Haahhaa. Okkkkk, I will blog out the Taiwan trip!I promised! Will blog as detail as possible. Hopefully my memory is still fresh still.Hahaha.

I must say this trip was a good one!Playing from day to night. Shopping all nights,eating all days, doing crazy things together! It's really enjoyable and &tiring.Hahaha.I hope all girls have fun! Cause I have alot of fun! Took lots of photos tooo. In total 3 cameras, I think we took more than 1.5k of photos.Hahahhaa.

It's a 7 days 6 night free &easy trip with gfs!From 6 April 2011 to 12 April 2011.Bought the air tickets during  jetstar sales period. i think I bought the tickets during Oct.At around $384(Inclusive of the $12 credit card charge) I remembered how kan chiong & tensed for me to get the 6 tickets book.I bought the tickets during lab lesson.Hahhaa. Cool shit! :P

Going Taiwan for 7 days, we stayed in 台中 for 2 nights and rest of the 4 nights in 台北.

On the day 5th April night, Kim came over to my house to stay overnight.Spent our time watching youtube video, going to MAC for supper and using my web cam to cam whore.Hahaha.Didn't get to sleep for the whole night and I think I even forget to take a nap in the afternoon. Too busy already. Hahaha

Met the rest of the girls up at 4.30am under my block and took the Maxi cab that we booked to Airport! Reached airport at 5+ and got our luggages checked in and had breakfast.

Excited to fly to Taiwannnn! :D

4 hours flight to Taiwan!The plane took off at 7plus.Once settled down on the plane, I got KO already. Plugged in my earpiece and off to sleep.Whole night never sleep leh. Must charge my engery.Hahaha. So does Suzana and Kim. Not like Cailing and Qian. Still wide awake and taking photos. Hahaha.

Look at the cloud! It's so fluffy that i'm going to die! Hahaha. Sounds familiar? Hahahaa

Finally after 4 hours flight, we reached Taiwan at around 12pm! Few things we do when we reached 桃园国际机场.

1)Go to the toilet

2)Collect our luggages

3)Bought Taiwan Sim Card( I think it cost NT500. But there's  a value of NT600 in the card)

4)Apply for the Youth Visitor pass(As long you're under 30 years old you can apply. It's kinda useful. There's some discounts for us!)

The luggages we brought over there.Wait till you see how many luggages/boxes/ hand carry we brought back, you will say us 夸张。Hahhaa

After doing the stuffs above, bought our bus tickets to 台中.We took 统联客运。The bus was kinda spacious. Oh ya, there's TV on the bus too.Streaming Harry Potter. But no sound leh.Hahahhaa.The ticket cost us NT240. By right, the ticket should only cost NT200 or cheaper. But I think it's because of public holiday, that's why it cost abit more that day.

The bus ride was round 1 hour plus. Alighted at 朝马站 and we just walked over to our motel!Oh ya, the weather there was cold! It's like free aircon everywhere.Hahahaha.

I emailed the staffs we will be reaching around 4/5pm. But we reached around 3pm. The staffs was nice enough to let us to check in at 3pm and got our room prepared! Once we got the keys and went into to our room. We went WOW!! Shiok maxx.

It's a very nice motel at a very affordable price!Each of us paid $50 for 2 nights ! Reasonable right?! So like it's only $300 for the 6 of us to stay there for 2 nights.  It's 璽朵汽車旅館‧CHATEAU MOTEL. Even the cab driver that we hired next day say we got 眼光 and asked me how I know about the motel.hahaha.The room we booked was actually for 4 person, but we added extra 2 beds in. It's spacious enough for the 6 of us to stay in.

The toiletries provided. Mai siao siao. Good quality de leh. The comb was good! But I lost mine. :<

All cup noodles, teas and drinks in the fridge are of FOC!Replenish everyday tooo! Eat/drink till happy leh! :D

The 2 mattress we added. Ok, thought it would be bed, but it's mattress. But it's ok. With the amount we paid and the room we had, we forgive them.Hahahhaa.

All of us are famished cause we didn't have our lunch, so we had the cup noodles provided.

After that, we rested awhile and we went to take 公车 to 逢甲夜市. Actually the staff advised us to take cab over. But we have to spilt into 2 cabs. Plus we feel that it's not worth it, we dropped the thought. An uncle told us we could walked over for around 20 mins. So we believe, while walking we asked for directions too.We met a guy and asked him for directions, he told us if we walked there, it will take us 1 hour. We was like 0.o" , he told us to take 公车 over there and asked us follow him since he is going somewhere near there too. Waited for quite long for the 公车. Nearly wanted to give up and walk over. The guy reminded us that it's gotta be a long journey. So we continue waiting, finally the bus came!True enough, the journey was pretty long leh. Heng, never believe that uncle and walk over.Hahahaha.

Once we reached 逢甲夜市, we went to find food first! All of us were still hungry after eating cup noodles!  Bought lots of 小吃s to share. In Taiwan, you don't have to worry about being hungry! Cause everywhere is foooood! Hahahhaa.

1st stop!

臭豆腐！Seriously, first day we still find 臭豆腐 not bad + the smell was acceptable. But for the next few days, whenever we go, we smell 臭豆腐 we wanna puke liao. Got sick of the smell. Hahahhaa.

猪血糕! Kinda special but taste soso nia. It's actually rice + 猪血 coated with peanut. By right there's vege + sauce de, but we didn't want.Shared and have a few mouthful and we threw away liao.Hahaha.

While eating, we were also shopping. Things there were kinda cheap. Mostly under NT390. The shoes were cheap till max! From NT 90 till NT390 only. And it's comfortable! After shopping for the whole night, we bought 黑轮 and 熊掌包 for supper!We bought 1 big packet of 黑轮 and the soup was really nice! Kinda missing it now! Same goes for the 熊掌包 too. The meat was cripsy. Mad shiok!

We shopped until 10/11 plus and we took cab back and had our supper together! And slept around 1plus.

Last 2 weeks of holiday(YES,back in 2010! It's 2011 now!) was the best I ever had, I must say. Spending quality time with holiday khakis, celebrating Christmas with foursome and gfs and of course Suzana's birthday.

2 weeks of holiday just passed by like that. And almost all projects were left untouched.And now, school reopen, I started to get panick as the submission dateline is nearing.  :<  Gotta chiong project already. Guess gotta spend lots of time in school library. One last lap to go alreadyyyy!

Seriously , I'm hoping for Taiwan trip with gfs come faster yet I don't want to graduate so fast! Contradicting not? Hahahhaaaa.

Here comes my long awaited 2 weeks holiday! Good food post again! : ) Like 1 month ago, went for steamboat session with gfs@Lelepot! Whack the meat.!Pity that Kim didn't join us. Seriously the steamboat was good and cheap, I LIKE! We ate till kua zhang. Sat there for 2 hours plus. I ate lots of prawns till my skin went damn itchy.Yes, I'm sort of allergic to seafood. But who cares! Hahhahaa. We wanted to continue eating but I guess they set timer. Once 2 hours is up, the power of the steamboat turned off itself and cannot switch on. Smart leh them. Hahahhaa.

 Anyway, I'm hoping for more good food session!Ya, eating good food is my all time hobby/favourite!Hahahaa Yes Kim, the Korean BBQ. Sizzling meat sound!! We will have that sooon! Hahhaa.

Weeks ago...spent Halloween with gfs at Timbre ! We don't celebrate Halloween actually.Just nice Halloween falls on Saturday , it's our every Sat outing, so we sort of like celebrated together.Met up with them and we have our dinner,Timbre @ Art House. Ordered the usuals and the best was the Roasted Duck Pizza!Drinks for everyone too.Yes, good and yummy foood again!Hehehe : ) Yee Qian mentioned something which I think it's true. We have a drink like every now and then. She don't like it. But we don't mind. Next sip sip session should on Na's Birthday.Hahaha.

Super busy with school these few weeks. There's always something to submit everyday! Mock interviews, assignments, projects, lab tests keep coming in as though it's free! Common tests coming too! :< So stressssss and fed up! Other than that... I feel that I'm digging my own grave. Doing things I'm incapable of... which make me feel so fucking inferior. FML! Seriously I need some good food therapyyyy to make me happy! Till then!

Like 3 weeks ago, Butty text-ed us on a random Friday telling us she got 4 tickets of Rainie Yang concert. Ya, damn excited! But there's 5 of us actually. Ended up only 4 could make it, so just nice. Free tickets! I like.Hahahhaa.Na, Cailing, Yee Qian and me went to for concert. But before that, we went over to Orchard. Girls accompanied me to meet up with the buyer to get my Mini Instax. After that we went for dinner @ Marche!

 After dinner, we headed to Singapore Indoor Stadium. Seat no. was different so no choice we got to seperate. Two at one side, while another 2 at another side. The concert was ok. Rainie Yang was really CHIO! Butt and I was high while the rest of the ppl at my zone was like... sian. Some of them even left earlyy. Anyway, all of us enjoyed the concert! Thanks butty for the free tickets! Hehe.

Update about my life now... workload started to get heavier and heavier. I don't like. Assignments, presentations, projects are bombing in alreadyyyy. The stress level getting higher and higher.But I'm still slacking. FML seriously! Sometimes I asked myself, did I made a wrong choice? Yes, I did. But I got no way to turn back but just continue with it. FML.

 

Hellooooo, on the actual day of my birthday, which is on 28 Sept. Gfs celebrated for me. Ya, like again, met them after work. So poor thing right? Hahhaa.Birthday still must work. To think of it, if I take off, I got nothing to do also.All of them was like having attachment/ working, tell me what can I do during the day time?So just met up them for a dinner celebration as well. Anyway , I met up with Yee Qian as the usual bus stop and Liqi at MRT and off we meet the rest at Marche @ 313.

Met of all them and we ordered foood. Seriously, potato make me feel easily full and bloated. Hahaha.

 

 

 

After the main course, went to get the dessert. And they sang me a Birthday songs and gave me presents + birthday book!  Yes, the birthday book was hilarious to the max. I literally laugh from when I open the book till the end. But I won't disclose what's the content like. It's a secret between the 6. Hahahhaa. Actually is I paiseh laaaa! Hahahhaa. No sharing of the contents.Hahaha

Got sabo-ed by our dear friend, Chelvi. She told us that all of us will be wearing denim skirt and insisted all of us to wear. So bo bian, wear lor. When I reached, only Selene and I wore. Actually expected this prank by her la. Hahahhaa.

Anyway, we went to Kiseki@ Hereen Basement for buffet. Lots of choices of foooddd. But I realise I didn't had much food lehhhh. I don't have the bloated feeling like I always have when eating buffet.Hahaha.But the food there was really good!

 We also gave Selene her presents too. It's like a super duper belated one. 2 months. Glad that she like it and she is using the wallet that we got for her! : )

After that, we strolled to Orchard Central and walk walk see see and parted with them at 11 I supposed.Thanks girls for the celebration! : ) Seriously with them in the same class is a very blessful thing. But now, we got seperated to different specialisation and different class, it's kinda saddd. I really hoped that we can keep in touch like alwaysssss!
